Now I watch a lot of crap TV. I watch 'Next,' and most of the stuff on E! and VH1. I love the Hulk Hogan show. I kind of like the Peter Brady getting married to that hot girl who was on that modeling show. I like 'Best Week Ever,' and 'The Soup.' I watch 'Bridezillas' and 'Project Runway.' Plus I love all those 'I Love the 70s/80s/90s' shows. So I watch a lot of crap. But last night I watched the crappiest show I ever saw. It's called, 'So You Think You Can Dance?,' but it should be called, 'Another Crappy Talent Show So FOX Can Capitilize on American Idol Fans.' All the show is is 'American Idol' but with a bunch of dancing fools.
The GF has been watching this from the beginning, but I watched it for the first time with her last night. Apparentely it's down to the final 6, which consists of 3 gay guys and 3 annoying girls. The girls are kind of hot (except the black girl, she's not that hot), but the hottest girl, well to me, anyway, has the most annoying fucking personality. She just came off as all fake and shit. It's hard to explain but she comes off as that type of girl who is very sexy, but she'll do something like burp and then make a stupid face and be like, "oops, was that me?" She is pretty and she has a killer body, but she is way to annoying for me. I wonder if she fucks as good as she looks, or she fucks as good as she comes off? Because one would be awesome, the other would be so not worth it.
But back to the show...it's just a horrible show. And it's packed with these teenage girls who do nothing but scream the whole time. And who cares that much about dancers? Big deal! Yeah, they are good at it, but what's the best they can do? Be a backup in some Broadway musical? Be a background dancer to some pop singer? Can anyone name the person who won this show last summer? I doubt it. And then they make a big deal that the final 10 dancers will be on tour this summer. Tour? Doing what? And the the summer is almost over. Who gives a shit!
Man, this show made me angry. It's just so dumb.
There is a heat wave going on around NYC and Long Island the last couple of days. It's been brutal. But it's supposed to break this afternoon with some storms moving in and taking the humidity with them. If it's nice tomorrow I'm banging in sick to work and heading to the beach.
I don't think I mentioned the blcok party from last Saturday. It was fun. I wound up in a 3 on 3 football game (2 hand touch) that was pretty eventful. First off, a guy on my team wound up rolling his ankle over and sprained it so badly he's going to be on crutches for 3 months and need PT. His doctor said he'd be better off breaking it. This happened to my ex and I she wasn't able to walk right for a good 5 to 6 months. It's a bad injury. Then, I wound up crashing into this really skinny guy who was playing beer pong down the street. The table was set up right at the end of the "end zone" and I caught a pass and was heading in to score (naturally) but I lost where I was and wound up slamming into this guy. I fell down and he looked real pissed. I wasn't worried he was like 85 pounds. But, my GF said I slammed his nuts into the corner of the beer pong table. She said she saw him like 10 minutes later on the lawn doubled over. Haha. I didn't care, I scored. Then, after I scored another TD (after an interception I made) the guy who took the place of the sprained ankle dude wound up slamming into some kid who was walking across the street. Fucking kid. She had the whole block to play on and she picks the spot where we are playing football. Anyway, that brought the game to an end but my team won, 14-7. I haven't played street football in years, but I still have it. I also played QB and was making some fine passes, but my receivers were dropping them. That's why I switched out to receiver. And my coverage was right on. I was all over my guy. It was fun.
This weekend I'll be at the beach tomorrow and going upstate to visit a friend on Saturday. Should be fun.
